Sadly, MMOs are on a decline and nothing really interesting is on the horizon lately, which is why I'm sticking to WoW for now, I mean the leveling zones are bustling with people atm on EU, so it feels plenty alive for once. Tree of Saviour is a good F2P MMO on steam with very Ragnarok Online feels to it.īlack Desert is fancy and flashy and the combat is fun, but it's very very cluttered.Īt least to me WoW is still a very solid game once I got some perspective, and apart from a few frowned upon changes in legion regarding some classes, I think it's shaping up to be a great expansion all the same.įFXIV would really be the only game I would consider as a replacement tho. After 8 years or so of being on PC, Perfect World International now has a mobile version in the works which was shown off at the Tokyo Game Show 2016.įor those of you not familiar with this game, Perfect World International is a fantasy-based MMORPG (based around Chinese mythology and history) that features a few different classes/races that players can choose to play as, before going out into the world to level up and become stronger. One of their older titles happens to basically be named after the company called Perfect World, but when it was released to the rest of the world, the name changed to Perfect World International. The Witcher 3 is the most awarded game of all time, and in my opinion, one of the best games to truly flaunt the open-world style. Perfect World, the company that is, has been around for a fair amount of time, having focused mainly on PC-based MMORPGs and other types of PC games.
